For the past ten years Sarah Maizes has been a leading voice in the parenting space (on-line and on-air) with her humorous commentary on parenting and lifestyle. She has appeared on the Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda, CNN Headline News, ABC News, NPR’s “Tell Me More with Michel Martin”, ABC’s “The List”, NBC News Now, HuffingtonPostLIVE and KTLA Los Angeles.
She is a contributing writer for Today.com and TodayMoms.com, CBSLA.com, The HuffingtonPost and LA Magazine. Her latest non-fiction book “Got Milf: The Modern Mom’s Guide to Feeling Fabulous, Looking Great and Rocking a Minivan” is a humorous look at redefining one’s sexuality as a mom.
Her first picture book, “On My Way to the Bath” was a Children’s Book Council “Best Book of 2012,” a Children’s Book of the Month Club Main Selection, and Tennessee State Volunteer Book Award Nominee. Her second picture book, “On My Way to Bed” was a New York Times Bookshelf “Pick” and has received rave reviews from the publishing trades.
As a development executive for Nelvana and producer with Mattel she developed more than 60 video and television projects and negotiated deals with writers and buyers.
Sarah is a sharp, experienced and accomplished wordsmith who brings a unique 360 perspective of the media landscape as well as lifestyle and parenting wisdom.
